Being far removed from a big city like New York during a September 11, I enjoyed a windy day at home with my dog Max. He was more interested in lizards and chomping down on my arm while I type on the computer. He has turned his interest to looking on the back of the swivel chair outside. The sunset is fading to a pale yellow. I would think it would reach a golden stage. Maybe, with a cool down of the air the sunsets will be more worth remembering as a perfect piece of art work. I hope you have a cool evening.
I have seen that golden hue in the sunset. It doesn't happen all of the time but when it does, everything has a golden tint. The first time that I saw it I was absolutely amazed because this golden color was everywhere. It was beautiful and yet sort of eerie. But I must admit that the beauty of the golden sunset outweighed the eeriness. Lew
