Change of attitudes

The criminal mind sinks to new lows when they feed on the weak and the helpless. The news story I heard about an eating establishment where a guy who is stabbed with a butcher knife is in a wheel chair while getting robbed is a cruel event. Especially when, it is done around the holiday season and people let their guard down to such dangers. The victim in the wheel chair did not survive. They caught the guy who inflected the fatal wounds and he had been let out five years after another manslaughter case. The monster was on the loose and claimed someone who could not fight back. I hope the communities will work together through the churches and reshape the youth and the troubled to a more positive outlook. Even when the economy is bad, there are ways to earn money without harming your neighbor.

  1. It was a heartless crime. I wonder what it was in his life that influenced him while growing up to become a person who could do such a crime. Hopefully he will be locked up and never released from prison again (and no plea bargaining to a lesser crime). Lew
