Change of attitudes

The criminal mind sinks to new lows when they feed on the weak and the helpless. The news story I heard about an eating establishment where a guy who is stabbed with a butcher knife is in a wheel chair while getting robbed is a cruel event. Especially when, it is done around the holiday season and people let their guard down to such dangers. The victim in the wheel chair did not survive. They caught the guy who inflected the fatal wounds and he had been let out five years after another manslaughter case. The monster was on the loose and claimed someone who could not fight back. I hope the communities will work together through the churches and reshape the youth and the troubled to a more positive outlook. Even when the economy is bad, there are ways to earn money without harming your neighbor.

The day before Christmas Eve

Little can be said about organization when things start piling up on the kitchen table. Cards that are put off to next year when you dream of having more time to get everything done. I can say that the cold snap is leaving and a warm trend is returning. I even saw the mosquitoes buzzing around my head this evening. A tree and outside lights did not go up this year. However, I did get a few hanging decorations outside. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a great new year.

Florida weather is back

It is the first of December and the warmer weather along with the mosquitoes are back. Plus, the humidity and the grey sky. I miss the slightly cooler weather and the clear blue sky. A friend and close friend of my parents is having his memorial service today. Russ Williams, created many memories for different people. He was versitile in his accomplishments. He ran a typesetting business and was involved in square dancing. He used his car to shuttle my parents around at their wedding. He raised two children and probably had some grandkids. He helped my sister out at her farm by feeding the animals. He will be missed by many people involved in his life.

Mystery weather

What is the weather going to do now? It seems cloudy, but the sun is trying to come out and shine. There is a sense of dampness in the air. The grass is kind of turning brown in the front yard for lack of water. The cooler weather makes my dog more lively and full of energy. The cooler weather also cuts down on the bug population like no see ums and mosquitoes that are around in the mornings and early evenings. I hope the rest of the day turns out nice.

Sunday at home

This morning I saw a humming bird on the orange honeysuckle plant. The humming bird was very busy trying to get the pollen out of the plant. I marvel when a humming bird with a green and yellow neckline is up against a bright orange honeysuckle plant with other red flowery plants close by. Today was warmer and not much activity from the neighbors. One person was whistling which disturbed my dog Max. The whistling sent my dog into a barking marathon. I had biscuits and gravy and pumpkin coffee from Dunkin Doughnut. I have been enjoying the flavored coffee. It is very mild and perks up my day in the morning. I have enough breakfast leftovers to last a couple of days. I have cube steak to cook for dinner. What a nice way to finish out Sunday afternoon.

Back to sultry weather

This is a picture of my mom and my friend Lillian at the Italian restaurant in Ocoee, Florida. This picture was taken along time ago. The cool weather has left New Smyrna and the rainy damp warm weather has returned. I had Chinese food for lunch and dinner today and shared the chicken part with my dog Max. I had Max out front to look for lizards and he found none. The lizards were gone and he was bored. He had nothing to show for his effort. Maybe tomorrow will hold a better result in catching lizards. I miss the cooler weather and wish for it to return. I did hear the clocks get turned back an hour this weekend. I will have to get use to the change. My dog is still barking for attention. I guess I will turn my attentions to him and the lizards.

Weather at the Coast

I was hoping for some nice cool weather with blue skies and warm sunshine. Instead, the humidity came and the clouds took over and the day went gloomy. The coast seems to be the last to show the changing of the seasons. When I was staying in Williston, Florida, I could see golden rod and leaves changing color and sunlight reflecting on the leaves. Maybe with a little more time the coast will show signs of fall in the air and the surrounding area.

Country side

The weather has turned a bit cooler in Williston, Florida. My sister and I beat the lunch crowd at "The Driftwood" which is the local restaurant on the main road into the city. I got a big juicy hamburger with curley fries. My sister got the fried tilapia with curley fries. Plus she got green beans and field peas. The leftovers came back to the dogs. I also got an order of fried mushrooms which I ate most and Glendon( my sister) ate some. The leftovers went to the dogs. Max the little guy will fight over his food. He is very territorial and will stand up to a big German Shepard. My sister's dog Abe is sweet, but will not stand up to my little monster. Max has more character and really is a super dog. I am glad he came with me to visit my sister. It looks like she will come with me to New Smyrna for the night and head back the next day. She won't see trees with sunshine glissening off the leaves. She will see asphalt and salt and sand. Yes, the beach with the pelicans and salt water and sea air. A different kind of Florida.

Fun in the big City

I found out that green olives adds a lot of salt to spaghetti. I have been adding black olives which I thought tasted close to mushrooms in my homemade spaghetti sauce. It was when I went to an Italian restaurant in Gainesville, Florida, I learned they add combination of both green and black olives which gave a salty flavor which was more than I choose to add. I did enjoy letting someone else cook for an afternoon and to enjoy eating with friends.  Gainesville is a place I would get lost very easily. I am really unfamiliar with the roads and where they lead. I am amazed by my sister and her friend who knew which lane to drive in to reach their destination. I was a fish out of water. Early this morning I got to look at a one headlight moon with a small ring which was rainbow and glissoning with wet dew. I heard a train cry in the distance and turned louder when it was close. I can hardly believe Saturday is here. The day just doesn't seem like a Saturday.

Road trip

If the crew of Gilligan's Island took a three hour trip to Williston, it would be nothing like being stuck on an island. There were no storms on the way over to Williston, but I did have tailgaters. I had people who would pass me and not in the passing lane. I would be listening to the talk shows just to keep my mind alert. My mom made the trip for years listing to public radio. I don't know how she did it. I do not travel alone, but my passenger travels in a cage in the back seat. He is a doggy with a independent personality. I have taken him from his lizard catching environment and placed him on thirteen acres to chase rogue roosters. There is only one rooster who is suppose to rule the hen house. However, two from next door are trying to move in on the main rooster's territory. I have passed my favorite barbeque place in Deland, Florida. (Sonny's) I like their garlic bread and french fries and slice pork. I also like their bake beans and a big giant glass of ice tea with lemon. I got caught up in the flow of the traffic and very rarely stopped to enjoy the sights. There was a big giant bridge I cross and had trouble seeing the water underneath. It also has a famous river which the writer "Marjorie Kinnon Rawlings" traveled.

Love the coffee but not the pop up notes

Coffee does get the brain going. I was playing the game Chickentary which kind of gets you tied into the game. It ask for more words that you can create out of the letters which are given. Some are easy while others are hard. I wonder if more rain will be coming today. It sure doesn't feel like the middle of the week. The picture is my new gate which I am enjoying.

Food

What is your favorite meal? Do you like chicken? How about Hamburger? Does it have to be Organic? How much Organic do you include in your everyday meal? What kind of meals do you like when the weather is warm and what kind of meals do you like when the weather gets cooler?  I like fried chicken and spaghetti. I like fried round steak with mushrooms and topped with tomato paste made into a gravy. The tomato paste gravy is good on some mashed potatoes. My mom was always partial to Idaho potatoes. I do think they produce a hearty potato. Do you like fish? I like salmon and shrimp. I like scallops. Food seems to be a fun subject to talk about. I also like blueberries, but last time I had to pay over five bucks for a pint of blueberries. I need to shop around.

Evening on the coast

Being far removed from a big city like New York during a September 11, I enjoyed a windy day at home with my dog Max. He was more interested in lizards and chomping down on my arm while I type on the computer. He has turned his interest to looking on the back of the swivel chair outside. The sunset is fading to a pale yellow. I would think it would reach a golden stage. Maybe, with a cool down of the air the sunsets will be more worth remembering as a perfect piece of art work. I hope you have a cool evening.

Start of Labor day weekend

The full moon is fading into the morning daylight. It was a small full moon called a "Blue Moon."  The weather has not changed from the summer like conditions of heat and humidity. The only thing true is my thoughts of fall in the past. The cooler weather and nip in the air. The sweater and jacket weather that feels good when you wear them. School starts getting into full swing with kids attending on a regular cycle. I guess as a kid I would be hoping for bad weather just to get a break from school. However, with every day off is another day to be made up. This usually means shorter vacations and in some cases longer school days. I wish Hollywood would create some good movies with good plots. I miss the days of feel good movies that inspire you when the movie ends. I have been enjoying the "Green Hornet" television series. This is on one of my extended channels. There are many other documentaries on other channels worth watching. I have been told there will be a "Cracker Barrel" restaurant opening up in October. I am looking forward to this event. I hope everyone has a good Labor Day weekend.

Waiting for sunshine

It looks like Isaac is finally on its way out of Florida. I saw a little bit of a sunset this evening. There was a lite drizzle of rain coming down. The grass was sopping wet like a sponge. My shoes absorbed the water and will have to dry out tonight. I had to dry off Max on the porch. I have a chair with a bunch of old towels. He likes to bury himself in the towels while I rub his fur dry. He likes to be rubbed. He feels good after being rubbed by the towels. Meantime, I have time to play games on the computer and pay bills in the morning. Hopefully the sun will return and dry out the grass, leaves and trees.

The purpose of water

Imagine a waterfall in Tennessee that had different layers of rock with water flowing from one rock to the next. You would know the water would be fresh and you would presume it would be pure because it was so close to nature. Living on the coast salt water is the attraction for visitors and residents. Swimming and fishing to keep cool from the 90 plus heat. Florida also has high humidity. The humidity feels like a sponge full of water. I would take my dog Max walking in the morning before the sun gets high in the sky or late in the evening when the sun is very low. My head would sweat and my face would feel like it was melting like candle wax. This evening after we got home Max grabbed my shoe and was swinging it around the house like it was a chew toy. When I got my shoe back, I discovered it had a chew bite on it. He settled down afterwards and is sleeping well. I am munching on some blueberries that I bought from Publix. They are sweet and tasty. Tomorrow I have to go back to the store to stock up on supplies for the weekend. It will be another day of adventure.

Admiration

I have a lot of admiration for the swimmer who attempted on more than one occassion to swim from Cuba to the United States of America. This latest attempt was cut short by 55 miles to Key West. When I heard her speak on television, she sounded like a very determined woman who would go after a task as if she would finish. I believe she could have finished, if she did not have the factors like jellyfish and storms to stop the progress. This wasn't her only attempt, but she was willing to try. Some people would not even try to accomplish a task. They may be safe, but would never risk to reach the ultimate goal. I wish her well and hope she inspires others to strive for their goals.

Not too long for Fall

I do have a red Hibiscus, peach Hibiscus, yellow Hibiscus and I am trying to grow a white Hibiscus. The neighbor down the road has a pink Hibiscus. It is nice to see these flowers growing in the summer. The storms have been quite threatening and the humidity has been thick. Max and I take our walk late in the evening. After the rain and before daylight, the temperature guage has read sixty degrees on the porch. I don't believe this guage. Somehow the weather still feels a bit too warm. My sister says the Goldenrod has bloomed where she lives. This is a sure sign of Fall in Florida. Monday, the kids go back to school and the beach returns to the adults. This seems to be the good thought of the day.

Dog days of Summer

Most of my time during the day is spent with my dog Max. Sometimes I have to lock him in his crate or what I call Jail to go shopping for groceries or do other task. In the middle of the day, the sun is too intense to walk a dog on the hot asphalt. We take our walks in the evening when the shadows from the trees turn long and the walk is a tad bit more durable. The great joy of having icy thoughts is at least your brain is cooled down. During lunch I saw a routine done at the Summer Olympics where the girl would twirl around like she was ice skating. She was not ice skating on the dance floor. It was a gymnastics routine done with a ball and a hula hoop. I was simply amaze how bendable and flexable these young ladies showcase to us. It was the kind of thing I have seen on "America has got talent." The coolest place over at the beach is our local Publix. I think I saw a hawk fly overhead, but I wasn't totally positive. I think the hawks would favor the cooler weather. I would only think the snakes would favor the warmer weather. What would your ideal weather be like? I would like to see different color fall leaves and have it cool enough to see your breath. I would like something warm to drink so I would not get too cold. I like the weather brisk, but not too cold. Maybe a couple of months down the road we will notice a weather change.

What to think

It can sometimes be very frustrating talking to a recording or machine that tries to second guess what you have planned. Sometimes it can seem humerous when you have this recording on speaker phone on and your doggy answers back. The machine does not understand what your doggy is trying to say. Woof!! Woof!! The machine does not understand doggy talk. Maxwell, you blew a hole into the cold mentality of a machine that can send you to a distant place you did not or want to go. A machine must not be allow to dictate what man is meant to do. The jobs and the thinking still belong to mankind. May I alway be allow to think this way.

Change

I get so involved in the new television lineup. I watch my share of animal shows. I like the "Turtleman." I also like to see the people catch catfish with their bare hands. They would walk down the muddy waters and stick their feet and arms into holes where the catfish hangout. Someone strings the catfish and they pull the catfish out of the hole and weight it. The person or team that has the most points from catching the most catfish in weight gets a trophy. One guy got a coon hat for a prize. I am also changing my internet provider. There is alot to learn with the new guys. I hope with time I will be use to what they can provide and enjoy it.

Lizard man

There is nothing like watching your doggy chase lizards with his tail wagging and such serious behavior. This is Max's one passion where he is able to block every "here Max" and almost every dog that walks down the street. I did see on television this one dog show where an English bulldog wanted to sleep all the time. Max just wants to try and catch lizards. He may get them or not, but it is the chase he is really after. We are suppose to get a tropical wave this weekend. This is getting to be prime season for hurricanes. Hopefully this year will be uneventful in the weather department.

Delight in the small things

I took my dog this morning to get a body shave and nails clipped at the pet grooming place. The guy that worked there thought it would take 3 and a half hours, but the other worker called and I picked him up in two hours. Max seemed like a new doggy with less fur to get in the way of the hot summer. I know he will need his coat when the weather gets colder. However, he is still the same dog that loves to chase the lizards. He also likes to race inside from one end of the house to the other with a stuff toy in his mouth. He runs as hard and fast which is funny to watch. I would compare it to watching a train start chugging away building up speed. He goes faster and faster until he plops down and can go no more. When he is through panting he falls asleep. This type of action you can not get from a television show. This is quality time with your pet.

Incident at the restaurant

There are situations that make you count your blessings such as locking your keys in the car with the motor running. How about your dog whom you left in the car with the motor running, locks the car and you don't have a spare key. This happened while I was eating dinner at the local restaurant. I had a birds eye view of everything, but the doggy. I never got to see what the doggy looked like. The owner was so worried about the doggy. She was tapping on the glass window. Even one of the workers in the restaurant tried to get the dog maybe even to unlock the car with a piece of bacon. It didn't work. Finally, the father of the young lady came to the rescue with a spare key. I also forgot to mention the police showed up briefly, but the girl must of reassured him her dad was coming. It was nice to see the windows rolled down and the young lady and her brother took off with the mystery dog. I finished up my dinner and went home to my dog Max who was quietly waiting for me. I knew all was right and the rest of the night would go well.

Wishful thinking

Let me paint an ideal Fall day. The temperature is in the sixty degree range. The sun is not intense. The humidity level is way down. The human and animal energy level is way up. There is a coolness in the air. People have their Fall garden planted producing beans, tomatoes, field peas and squashes. When evening comes a full big gigantic harvest moon emerges. If this occurred over at my sister's place, she would be taking a moonlight horseback ride. If this occurred over at the beach, the moonrise would be worthwhile to watch over the open ocean water. What an idealist view which I didn't mention the changing of the leaves which occurs later in Florida. I would wish the Northern States like Indiana, Kentucky, New York and others have a cool beautiful leave color changing Fall. May they loose the triple digit weather and not see it again for a very, very long time.

View on trouble in Colorado

You go to the movies to escape reality. The twelve people who perished at the hands of someone with no regard to life. You have a preditor and a victim and that is sum of the equation. There are no variables. The person who did the shooting in Colorado had a purpose that destroyed many lives, but brought together a community and nation. Even the political candidates put aside their agendas to look after the families who lost love ones. I hope we can return and watch movies in safe conditions and attend other activites in safe conditions.

Stuff to keep and Stuff to toss away

In my kitchen are piles of paper which I have to sort through to keep only the things I  need. Somehow the pile never goes away. I would make  lots of progress on one pile and a couple of days later it is twice the size it was before. At least I know there will be more stuff going out in the trash tomorrow. What stuff do you like to keep and what stuff do you get rid of right away? Do you keep political ads or do you get rid of them right away? How about people who want donations? Do you fill out the prize for for Reader's Digest? The work to sort will go on at my place for a very long time.

I challenge Hollywood

I challenge Hollywood to write a meaningful script where all the characters have a well developed purpose. I challenge Hollywood to write a script that isn't so high impact on action, but doesn't drag you into a pit of muck. I believe well known actors deserve to not be placed into a small meaningless role, but something equal to their talents. I watched part of the "Tyler Perry"movie and left because it dragged and did not hold my interest. I love to go to the movies and get the pop corn and diet coke, but I want to leave feeling like I was a part of a meaningful production.

Study the clouds

A more than relaxing time is to study the design of puffy white clouds which look like steps that you can climb. The white clouds have blue sky for a background. It has been fortunate to not have rain and to enjoy the sunlight of the day. I love watching the planes leave long white trails across the sky. I find it a bit weird when the plane doesn't hardly leave a trail. Coming home from work one time, I saw a plane and thought how many people could be on such a tiny looking plane up in the sky. I can see the rocket launches across the street. I like seeing the rocket trail when the rocket takes off. I also like to hear the sound from the engines when the sound travels up the coast.

warm weather

I saw on the news that global warming was getting worse. There were reports that man made gases were causing alot of  problems. Iceburgs were melting faster and polar bears had no place to stay. I know the East Coast has had to deal with triple digits. The cold spells up North seem to be shorter. The Winter in Florida was very small. I worry about the temperature of the water being over 80 degrees. This is a big draw for storms like hurricanes.

doggy food

People food verses doggy food which do you think is better?  Now days doggy food is made with organic vegetables and chicken. It is almost like feeding your doggy people food. I was eating a piece of pie I made, when Max looked at me like he wanted a piece also. I gave him a small piece, but it drifted to the floor. I guess it was too cold for him to eat. The other night Max took an interest in a free packet of Rachel Ray dog food. He liked it eating morsel after morsel. The next day he turned his nose away from it. I intend on hold on to the Rachel Ray dog food sample and maybe he will start liking it again.

Max's morning time

Max has studied the wall outside for lizards. His eyes roll up and down in such animation. He has made some close encounters, but hasn't caught any lizards lately. I brought him indoors during the morning sun. The sun can be intense outside and he feels better and does better in the shade. I am grateful the weather is not in the triple digits, but the humidity drains the energy level. Max is letting out a commanding bark I guess he wants attention.

Observations

Being a resident on the East Coast (beachside), I see an occasional flyover from a pelican or a group of pelicans flying in flying formation. I don't see lots of big oversize crows which I see when I go to visit my sister inland on her farm. I see lots of cars on the road when I travel to my sister's place. I see regular cars and trucks. Sometimes a hybrid car which is suppose to run on both electricity and gas. I never see any solar cars. There are no cars or trucks on the road running totally on something other than gas. The big question is gas prices going up or down? How much of your hard earned dollar goes into the tank for gas to transport you to your destination? How many ice cream shops do you pass on your car or truck trip? Don't you think in this heat, they would be making lots of money?

my purse

Purses are a part of my daily life. My purse is usually from the second hand store operated by the pink ladies at the local hospital. I like a purse with lots of pockets to store my belongings. I carry more than one wallet. I have so many receipts.  I end up throwing most of them out. I collect lots of loose coins, so I can save up to buy a fancy pizza which I can share with my dog Max. This morning Max is perched up on the back of his office chair to look out the window for people and other dogs passing by. He gets disappointed when there is no one to bark at. This morning I plan to take my dog to the vet with my worn purse which I will need to replace with one hopefully with lots of pockets.

Movie Criteria

I seek original thought when seeing a new movie. I want a movie with a story line. It has a beginning and middle and a good ending. I don't want to be left puzzled or hanging or disappointed because it did not work out the way I wanted it. The movie I saw today had a plot which was hard to follow. It was buried in action after action. I got a medium butter popcorn and large diet coke. I was chomping down on the popcorn because of the nerves of the movie. There wasn't really a calm moment. The beginning, middle and ending had me devouring popcorn and drinking diet coke to wash down the butter and to be sure the popcorn doesn't get stuck in the throat. It was like a roller coaster ride which I wanted to get off, because I didn't have the good feeling. Puzzlement caused by not keeping track of the character's plots. This movie had lots of computer generated drama it seemed unreal.  Where is the dramatic actress with the good role? Where is the actor you can admire for being a hero to the audience?  Will there ever be another Tom Sawyer or Huck Finn?  Can there be another horse ride or boat ride?  Can you have a good cry when the movie touches your heart? I long for an original adventure where I can admire the characters and leave the theater feeling happy.

Longing for cooler weather

It is nice in the evening when the sun goes down to take my dog on his daily dog walk. We walk down to the end of the street and cross the road to a bike path with woods on the side. My dog gets to sniff every plant on the trail. He comes back panting with his tongue hanging out. He barks at me demanding to be taken on his daily walk. It turns out good for the both of us. We both come back somewhat tired at the end of the day and ready to watch television. As the night darkens the sky, I think how cool the earth is on the ground. It may have dew in the morning or it may be totally dry, but the ground is cool to the touch of my feet. I called a person in Indiana and my Aunt in North Carolina. They both stated that the weather would get into the triple digits. The news reports seem scary to me how people die from heat exhaustion. I don't see the fairness of the heatwave hitting the whole East Coast when most people are unprepared for no power and keeping the body cool. I look forward to the fall and the change of the seasons. I hope the summer heat doesn't last for long.

Fourth of July

The end of a hot day is arriving. Blue sky with some white clouds. A day at home inside the air conditioning house with the television set blaring. The setting of the sun will allow me to take my dog out for an evening walk before the firecrackers and fireworks come out in full force tonight. I am hearing our country is 236 years old. When my mom made a recording back in 2010 it was 234 years of this country's history. My sister is going to see fireworks with a friend. I will watch on television if I don't find something more to my interest. I am sorry to hear about the passing of Andy Griffith. He reminded me so much of apple pie. Someone so pure, sweet, real and benificial to the wellness of others.

First day of July

Yes, it is hot again. My friend Bill came from Winter Garden to fix a sprinkler head.  We ate lunch at JB/s fishcamp where I got an oyster sandwich and he got a fish lunch.

Last day of June 2012

The last day of June is a mixed day of happiness and regret. I would have wanted to attend a funeral of a close friend. However, I wasn't able to assemble myself in time and find what to do with my dog in this extreme heat. I did send flowers and hopefully the family will still accept me at a later date. I hope the weather will be cooler when I do go and visit. My neighbor Carole brought over some rich lasagna. Max my dog knew it was food when it came in the door. I could tell it won his approval.

It is a launch

The adventure is placed back into the space program thanks to the new rocket launch of the Falcon 9. Why is it being called the dragon capsule? Is there some Chinese connection? This was one of the smoothest launch success attempts made today. There was no one on our street at 3:44 in the morning. They were all tucked away in bed. It was quiet and the sound of the rocket was the only noise vibrating up the coast from the South. This rocket launch has to preform some manuevers for NASA to show it is space worthy to travel to the space station. I hope it passes all it's required test to be used as the next vehicle to travel into space.

Evening at the Beach

I love the clear blue evenings with a temperature that is comfortable. One of the bad features about New Smyrna Beach is the tick invasion. My poor dog Max had Front line, a flea bath and the house treated by a pest control company to get rid of the ticks. However, they are still there and living and crawling. When I look at the ticks on the walls inside the house I feel like I am in a horror movie called " Invasion of the tick invaders." I was noticing the folds of the roses petals on the rose bush. They look so delicate. I miss the brisk cool air in the morning. As the season moves towards the Summer, I find the heat is only good for drying the clothes on the clothes line.

Money for our home land

The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) is depleting the United States of much needed funds. The taxes collected from imports gave money to our economy. I don't remember what specific uses the money was used for, but I know it could keep people employed at mills and plants. It could be used to repair highways. It could be saved for a rainy day when we need extra funds for hurricane repairs, tornadoes, earthquakes, and fires. This is an issue no politician will speak about or adopt to improve the country. What is are economy going to look like down the road? No one has a clear defining answer.

The Senator

I remember going to visit "The Senator" when I was young. On January 16, 2012 a fire claimed the life of the Cyprus tree. It is kind of a sad ending to a small bit of Florida history that many people won't care about. Max is now playing with his pillows and just barking for attention. He played in the sprinklers last night and ate a few hot dogs for lunch. I would like to see the sun come back and the skies turn blue. I am not a fan of gray skies and gloomy weather.

A priceless bird

There it is fresh organic turkey in it's prime

A 15 pound bird that shouldn't take a great deal of cooking time

Where is the price and what do I see?

An 85 dollar sticker staring back at me

I thought to myself does this bird wear diamond rings on his toes?

The butcher cut off his head and feet so nobody knows

What did this bird eat to be such a high priced bird?

Was it caviar, steak or shrimp

no one will utter a word.

Surely this bird is safe to eat because it cost so much money

Would you buy from a store that begins with the letter P

and do you think that is funny?
